Branson Creek
Golf Club
Tom
Fazio designed Branson Creek Golf Club's course. It rests on 7,500
acres and measures 7,012 yards. The 18-hole, par-71 course has rolling
hills, bunkers, and Bermuda grass. Branson Creek is four miles south of
Branson off of Highway 65.
Holiday Hills
Golf Club
The
Holiday Hills Golf Club has more than 40 bunkers, Bermuda fairways, tees,
and bent grass greens on its 18-hole course. Golfers of every skill level
can play at Holiday Hills. The golf club also has a pro shop and lessons
available.
Kings River
Golf Course
The
scenic Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake are the backdrop of the Kings
River Golf Course. It has 18 holes with a par 70. Kings River is 30 miles
from Branson, and is open year-round.
Ledgestone
at Stonebridge Village
Ledgestone at Stonebridge Village is a private, 18-hole course. It has
a par 71 with rolling terrain and a forest that borders the fairways.
Tom Clack designed this course with water hazards on 10 of its holes.
Point Royale
Golf Course
The Point Royale Golf Course challenges players. It is considered to be
the original championship golf course in Branson. Previous golfers say
you must have a good course strategy to master Point Royale. The course
has 18 holes that are covered with bent grass greens, Bermuda fairways,
sand and grass bunkers, and tees for all levels of play. Golfers are also
treated to views of Lake Taneycomo. Point Royale has a par 70 and measures
6,067 yards.
Thousand
Hills Golf Resort
This golf resort is in the heart of Branson behind the Grand Palace Theater.
Thousand Hills Golf Resort has an 18-hole, par-64 course with bent grass
greens and Zoysia fairways. It is also located on rolling hills with lakes,
creeks, and sand traps on 16 holes. Golf Digest gave this course 3 ½
stars.
Top of the
Rock Golf Course
Top of the Rock Golf Course is tops with the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary
Program. The golf course received the group's highest achievement
award because of its harmony with the environment. Nearly 40 percent of
the course's 47 acres were left in its natural state. Players will
see clear views of the Ozark Mountains and wildlife while they golf on
this nine-hole, par-27 course. Golf legend Jack Nicklaus designed Top
of the Rock.
